About SCAE Courses
The SCAE Coffee Diploma is an internationally recognized education system aimed to meet the needs of coffee professionals everywhere. It is a controlled and certified system with a curriculum written and updated by the best minds in the coffee industry.
The system has six modules: Introduction to Coffee, Barista Skills, Brewing, Sensory, Green Coffee and Roasting. Each module is a qualification on its own and is structured in three levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Professional.
Each course also contributes with a number of points towards Coffee Diploma (Foundation = 5 points, Intermediate = 10 points, Professional = 25 points), which is an additional qualification awarded once 100 or more points have been earned.
