Course: Licence to Work: Level 1&2

This is a 5 day practical training course (WBA Level 1 & 2) covering a multitude of topics necessary for you to work in the coffee industry. Over the 5 days you will have a huge amount of practical time on the machines, practicing the various drinks that can be ordered. You will also learn trade secrets on grinder calibration, customer service and workflow systems. We also complete HACCP Level 1 and Manual Handling courses which are legislative requirements when working in the hospitality industry.

These certificates will last for 3 years once successfully completed. Finally a day of work experience where you will work in real time in one of our two coffee shops with some of the best baristas in Europe. You will put into practice everything learned in the course.

The Licence to work in a combination of both our WBA Level 1 & Level 2. The certificate is only approved once each student successfully passes the exams at the end of the final classroom day.

Classroom Day 4

  • Latte art Workshop
  • Barista written and Practical exam’s
  • Re-sits can be organised on this day aswell

Practical Day 5

  • Work experience (One Full Shift)
  • CV Review

 

Work Experience Information 

The Work experience day will be arranged when you complete the final day of the practical classroom course !

Please note that the work experience date is usually within the following 2 weeks of the practical course completion!
